About Instructors
Angela Ariatti
Angela has been riding and teaching for over 20 years. In her teens, she rode on the Area VI Young Rider Team. She competed for over ten years riding up to the Intermediate level in eventing. She has competed successfully in Ireland and England as well as in the United States. When she was 20, she received the "A" rating from the United States Pony Club, the highest testing you can receive as a youth. She decided to continue her education with the British Horse Society. She traveled to England twice, once to receive her Assistant Instructor Degree and once as a student at Yorshire Riding Center. She rode with Jane and Christopher Bartle, both long time International riders from Enland. She received her Intermediate Instructor Certificate at the age of 24. Through her travels she has ridden with Jack LeGoff, William Michelum, Fellow of the British Horse Society, Jimmy Wofford, Virginia Lang and Karen O'Conner.
In 1999, she received her Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Louisville. She also started her business Ariatti Equestrain Services which is run out of Alta Vista Farms. Ariatti Equestrian Services helps many kinds of Adults experience horses through lessons and horse sales. Both Angela and her new instructor Emily Raush specialize in starting the first time rider and helping all riders to achieve safe and fun riding at all levels.
Keedle Ritter
In her almost 30 years in the saddle, Keedle Ritter has experienced and competed in many different aspects of the horse world. Having shown in hunters and equitation on the A circuit in KY, IN, OH, TN, and FL and training with some of the top people in the world, she has also ridden with the Louisville Polo Club, competed in Jumpers, Dressage and Eventing, and is a former memeber of Covered Bridge Pony Club.
With an easy going style of teaching, she now passes on her love of Hunt Seat and Hunt Seat Equitation with a focus on horsemanship and sportsmanship to both children and adults. Her students have fun, learn, and compete at the highest echelons of the sport.

Alta Vista Farm in Goshen, KY is the perfect venue to advertise your business in Oldham County, KY. We have clients who ride once a week, and horse owners who come to the farm on a daily basis. Most parents who bring their kids stay to watch their lessons, thus being a captive audience to the signage in our arenas. Our clients are always looking for businesses who provide support services for their horse addiction.
We host 12-15 clinics per year, with such well know riders as Ralph Hill, Jim Graham, Torrance Watkins, Peter Gray, Mark Combs, Lucinda Green and Chris Bartle. These clinics are attended by riders from all over the US, who spend the weekends in KY and need places to eat, sleep, purchase horse supplies and equipment, and play. Many of these riders and friends visit repeatedly, and introduce new visitors to the amenities the area has to offer.
Our horse shows each year fill between 10-15 of our weekends, including our annual benefit show. Last year, our beneficiary was St Francis School, for which we raised $7,000. In the preceding 6 years, we raised almost $25,000 for The Home Of The Innocence in Louisville. Our shows attract participants from KY ans neighboring states, and are always well attended.
Our neighboring farm, Flying Cross Farm, is owned by Allen Northcutt and situated on scenic highway 42. We also host many activities at Flying Cross, including the Flying Cross horse trials in September. This event is recognized by both the US Eventing Association and the US Equestrian Federation. It draws over 1500 competitors, spectators, volunteers and friends from an average of 12 states. This facility is know throughout the horse industry for its fabulous cross country course, beautiful barns, and amenities.
